If You're Gemini Illustrated by Elizabeth Berube

 Young Love #81
(July/August 1970)
Art by Elizabeth Berube

What say you, Geminis? How does this comic book horoscope stack up to what you know of yourself? Though I don't put much weight into horoscopes as being anything other than entertainment, I can't help but love Elizabeth Berube's interpretation of the individual signs!

  1. As a Gemini apparently, I should have some sort of comment on that blurb, but I'm just so uninterested in horoscopes, even as entertainment.
However, I just love the illustration - so far, I've loved everything I've seen that Berube has done (mostly stuff posted on this blog). And I have to thank you, Jacque, for highlighting her work - I wouldn't have know about her otherwise.

  2. I'm a Gemini too and don't believe in horoscopes. But I probably will tomorrow ... I'm apparently VERY Gemini.

Anyway, it's great to see more from the excellent Liz Berube. Scanning old Superman covers at the GCD this week I noticed some half-page fillers, eg in Superman v1 #63 and #65, were credited to one Phil Berube. Given that Berube was Liz Safian's married name, was Phil her husband? I don't recall this coming up in your interview.

    1. Hi Martin! We did not cover that in my interview, but Bryan Stroud asked her in his and Phil Berube is of no relation.
